Welcome to 5 Corner Dental, your destination for expert dental care in the heart of Cloverdale, Surrey, BC. Since opening our doors in 2010, our practice has been dedicated to providing top-notch dental services in a setting designed for your comfort and convenience.
My goal is to help patients achieve their ideal smile and improve their overall long-term oral health.
Dr. Mehrzad Hakimi has been a dentist for over 26 years and is well-known in the dental industry. In 2012, Dr. Hakimi served UBC Dentistry as a faculty member. He engages in both patient and community care.
Recently, Dr. Hakimi completed a comprehensive Invisalign course, equipping him with the knowledge to treat more complex malocclusions. His continuous learning and extensive experience give him the confidence to provide his patients with the best possible care.
Dr. Hakimi’s attention to detail ensures his patients receive the oral care they need. His goal is to help patients achieve their ideal smile and improve their overall long-term oral health.
Dr. Kamyar believes in building meaningful relationships with his patients and takes pride in educating them about their oral health and treatment options so they can make confident, informed decisions.
Dr. Kamyar Hakimi is a dedicated dentist who developed a passion for dentistry at a young age, inspired by observing his father’s work in the profession. He graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, and has since been committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality dental care with a strong focus on patient comfort and long-term oral health.
Since graduating, Dr. Hakimi has continued to expand his clinical skills through extensive continuing education in areas including minimal sedation, endodontics, surgical extractions, and comprehensive treatment planning. He particularly enjoys taking a holistic approach to restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work, endodontics, and helping patients through larger, multi-phase treatment plans that restore both function and aesthetics.
Dr. Hakimi is committed to creating a warm, comfortable, and anxiety-free environment for every patient who walks through the clinic doors. He believes in building meaningful relationships with his patients and takes pride in educating them about their oral health and treatment options so they can make confident, informed decisions.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hakimi enjoys spending his summers outdoors hiking and relaxing at lakes with his Australian Shepherd, Dingo, as well as spending time with his family. In the winter, he enjoys skiing and traveling to new destinations.
Meet Simav - CDA
Simav completed her Dental Assisting certification at CDI College and has been working as a dental assistant since 2023. She enjoys supporting patients and ensuring a smooth, comfortable experience at every visit, and is committed to continuing education to bring more knowledge to enhance each patient’s experience.
Outside the clinic, Simav spends her time with family and friends and enjoys going on trips together.

Your First Visit: What to Expect
We want every dental visit to be a great experience, starting with your first one. Here’s everything you need before your first visit.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment and plan to spend about 90 minutes in our office. You will receive a comprehensive oral examination and x-rays to help your dentist assess your oral health. Our team at 5 Corner Dental will look for signs of tooth decay, bone loss, oral cancer, and Periodontal (Gum) Disease.
To be able to serve you better we need your insurance information, and the name and phone number of last dental office you have been there (if you have recent x-rays )at least 2 business days before your appointment.
Insurance & Billing
We work with any kind of insurance. We will submit the service after it has been completed in the office.
Please note, we need your insurance information as soon as possible to be able to set it up or provide an estimate for your upcoming appointment.
